Privacy Policy

C- Stack is job management software for trade contractors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers both the C- Stack website and the C- Stack mobile app.

What we collect

Account details. When you create an account we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password, your company name, and your role. If your employer sets an hourly pay rate for you, we store that too.

Work you enter. Customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, work orders, timesheets, and any plan sheets you upload for takeoff. This is your business data — you put it in, and it belongs to your company.

Clock records. If you clock in and out through the mobile app, we record the time you started, the time you stopped, and the job you selected. We do not collect your location, and the app does not track you in the background.

Technical logs. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request times, for security and troubleshooting.

What we don’t collect

We don’t collect your location, your contacts, your photos, or your browsing activity on other sites. We don’t use advertising trackers, and we don’t build advertising profiles.

How we use it

To run the service: showing you your jobs, calculating payroll totals from approved hours, sending your estimates and invoices where you tell us to, and keeping your account secure. That’s it. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who can see your data

People in your own company, according to their role. Management sees the company’s records. Technicians see only the work orders assigned to them and their own timesheets. Your data is not visible to other companies using C- Stack.

Who processes it for us

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate:

• Hosting and application delivery
• A managed database provider, which stores your records
• A file storage provider, which stores plan sheets you upload for takeoff

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. If you close your account, tell us and we will delete your company’s data. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis after that.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access is scoped so that one company cannot read another’s records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

Your choices

You can view and correct your own details from My Profile, and change your password there. To request a copy of your company’s data, or to have it deleted, contact us at the address below and we’ll take care of it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port it. Contact us and we will honor those requests.

Children

C- Stack is a tool for businesses and isn’t directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and let account owners know.
